EASTER BASKETS: Walgreens

Walgreens started putting out their Spring decor and Easter goodies!  I absolutely LOVE Spring, and all the holidays (St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mardi Gras).

I am on the prowl for Easter basket items for my 8 year old daughter.  She was with me on this visit to Walgreens.  One of her favorites was the Peeps 17" Rainbow Bunny @ $9.99 each.  Guess I'll put that on the list.

Valentine's Day will be here in a few weeks.  I've already begun getting cards, and small gifts for people.  Closer to the holiday, cards will be flying off the shelves.

One gift I couldn't pass up is itty bitty's Dreamworks Trolls Poppy (Limited edition).  Absolutely love how the hair stands straight up!  The cost is $7.95 each.

DAILY DEALS: Chasing Fireflies

I received an email from Chasing Fireflies about their Warehouse Clearance Sale.  Their clothing, costumes, etc are GORGEOUS!!! Found a Queen of Hearts costume on sale for $19.97. It was originally $130.00!  The wig and wand were not available.  Check out their website at www.chasingfireflies.com.

SAMARITAN'S PURSE: Operation Christmas Child

Hobby Lobby (Rock Hill,SC) teamed up with Samaritan's Purse: Operation Christmas Child.

National Collection Week is November 14-21, 2016

You can pick up a container (available for purchase) at the Samaritan's Purse display (in-store at Hobby Lobby), and fill it with items for a BOY or GIRL.  There are three age categories: 2-4 years old, 5-9 years old, and 10-14 years old.

Each box must include a $7 donation.  This fee is necessary to cover the cost of transport and delivery.

Gift ideas include:

Toys
plush animals, foam toys, balls

School Supplies
pencils, markers, crayons, notebooks, rulers

Other Fun Items
sunglasses, stickers, hair ribbons, coloring books, dress up/jewelry

Do not include war-related items such as toy guns, knives, or military figures; seeds; chocolate or food; liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers; aerosol cans.
