I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out what to buy my 8-year old daughter this year for Christmas.  So, each time we are in a store, I ask her what she likes.  This gives me lots of ideas for "Santa".

Went to Target to look for new items for my daughter (Christmas).  I saw these two life-size dolls on the shelf, and loved it.  This is a great gift idea for a young girl.  Target  carried this item, but you can also search the internet.

MONOGRAM SHOP: Maple Street Monograms

What Southern Gal doesn't like monogramming?

I found a really neat monogram shop called Maple Street Monograms.  After driving by it several times, I finally decided to stop and check it out.  Found some unique treasures at this store.

My favorite items were the sterling silver, round necklaces, and the Lily Pulitzer cups.  Think I will go for the pink or green necklace with white letters.

FIVE BELOW opened in the Steel Creek area (Charlotte, NC).

I found a few items that I want to add to my wish list.   Great place to find fitness equipment

A new store called FIVE BELOW opened in the Steele Creek area (Charlotte, NC).
I bought most of my daughter's school supplies at Walmart, but needed five (5) more items.  Was surprised at the variety of items that FIVE BELOW offered.  Really liked the locker accessories section.

My First Tervis was the first thing I saw when walking in the door.  Couldn't help stare at the tiny, sippy cup!  Everyone in our house is a USC Gamecocks fan.  Wish these would've been out 8 years ago, when my daughter was born.

This would be the perfect gift for a baby shower, or child's birthday party.

SUMMER: Tervis

Bed, Bath & Beyond (Gastonia, NC) has a variety of Simply Southern Tervis cups. 
They are great for keeping beverages hot or cold.  Love mine!
However, the turtle Tervis would look great in my collection.

For those of you who love politics, Democrat and Republican Tervis cups are sitting on the
counter at the register.  Hmmmm!  Hard choice!
