CHRISTMAS: Hallmark Ornaments @ Walmart

Walmart started putting out some Hallmark Christmas ornaments!  Exciting!  I already found two (2) that are on my list.

Harry Potter is one of my all-time favorite characters. So, this cute ornament will go on my bedroom tree this year.

My daughter is a huge emoji fan.  The poo emoji and smiley face emoji's are featured this year. Definately would like to put those two (2) on her bedroom tree.  Christmas is looking festive this year.

I know it's crazy, but I love Christmas trees.

KIDS COOK: American Girl by Williams Sonoma Lunch Party benefiting No Kid Hungry

Butterfly-Shaped Pimento Cheese Sandwiches

I took my daughter to American Girl by Williams Sonoma Lunch Party benefiting No Kid Hungry this morning.

The kids were taught how to make a Butterfly-Shaped Pimento Cheese Sandwiches, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwiches.  The lesson took place at a cooking station on the other side of the cash register.  My daughter really enjoyed the class, and I was really impressed.

Each child received a sheet with recipes, and a set of three (3) sandwich cutters.

The proceeds from the class will be donated to No Kid Hungry to end childhood hunger in America.

JEWELRY: Living Lockets

I recently purchased living locket jewelry from Etsy.com.  Love the tiny charms, but didn't want to pay $40.00 for a bracelet, and charms.  So, I looked up living lockets on Etsy.  To my surprise, I found a shop called Charming Girl Creation in Tampa, FL.  Can't say enough about how pleased I was with the quality, and service.  The charms, necklace, bangle bracelet, and ring are fantastic.  Picking out all the cute charms was my favorite part!  The prices are great, and items are shipped in a timely manner.

Do you love watching Pioneer Woman on Food Network?  I want some of these dishes for my birthday (from Walmart).  The design is beautiful!

MEAL KITS: Martha & Marley Spoon

I recently started using a Meal Kit service.  Martha & Marley Spoon seemed to have recipes that my family would enjoy.  Not to mention, you can't go wrong with Martha Stewart!  The recipes are Martha's, which makes it even more special.  The meal kit is shipped in a box with ice packs to last up to 30 hours.

The ingredients are sorted by recipe, and enclosed in a labeled bag.  Meat and other perishable items are at the bottom, underneath ice packs.

I have learned new cooking techniques that I've never tried before.  The recipes are so flavorful that it's unbelievable.  My family loves the meals, and asks what we are having for dinner daily now.  Even my picky 9-year old daughter, says that Martha & Marley Spoon's burgers are way better than mine.  I'm impressed with dishes that have pan juices, and spices.  It really livens up the dish.

We are really impressed with this service.  All of the food was fantastic!  Looking forward to ordering more boxes in the future.

Ornaments are now available!  I bought Mr. Potatohead (just because I love it), and Snoopy (baking ornament).  I try to choose an ornament based on what my daughter has done during the year.  She took a cooking/baking class, so Snoopy was the perfect selection.

FUN FOOD: Jell-O Creations Dessert Kit

I was shopping at Harris Teeter, and saw these really cute Dessert Kits on the shelf.  Jello-O Creations offers this product in four (4) different flavors-S'mores cups (marshmallows) , Oreo dirt cups (gummy worms), Beach cups (sea animal gummies),  and Princess cups (princess gummies).

This would be a great idea when my daughter's friends come over this summer!

SUMMER CAMP: LABELS

If your kids are attending Summer Camp when school is out, you'll have to label everything.  I found some labels at Dollar Tree.  Nice colors, and a great price!

EASTER BASKETS: Walgreens

Walgreens started putting out their Spring decor and Easter goodies!  I absolutely LOVE Spring, and all the holidays (St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mardi Gras).

I am on the prowl for Easter basket items for my 8 year old daughter.  She was with me on this visit to Walgreens.  One of her favorites was the Peeps 17" Rainbow Bunny @ $9.99 each.  Guess I'll put that on the list.

Valentine's Day will be here in a few weeks.  I've already begun getting cards, and small gifts for people.  Closer to the holiday, cards will be flying off the shelves.
